Benjamin Franklin Thomas, Jr., 62 of Norman, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born on March 7, 1956 in Harlan County, Kentucky, the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Thomas Sr. and Elizabeth (Lovett) Thomas. Ben was a former employee of Berry Material Corp. in Hayden, Indiana and also had worked at Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana. He enjoyed woodworking and building things with his son Brad in their garage and loved his dogs. Ben was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Thomas; his parents, Benjamin, Sr. and Elizabeth Thomas; four brothers, Clifford, Wade, William “Bill” and Ervin Thomas and a sister, Janie Wilhite. Survivors include three sons, Bradley Dean Thomas and wife Tracy of Norman, Indiana, Benjamin Franklin Thomas, III and wife Tabby of Seymour, Indiana and Brian Wayne Thomas of Blocher, Indiana; two brothers, Lowell Thomas of Lexington, Indiana and Carl Thomas of Austin, Indiana; three sisters, Rose Jones, Coella and Patricia Thomas all of Deputy, Indiana; three grandchildren, Michael, Bradley and Ashley and two great grandchildren, Liam and Lucas.

Graveside Service: 12:00 Noon on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison, Indiana. Services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
