Julie Livesay, 56, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 18, 1962 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of Leo V. Peacock and Donna (Lewis) Peacock. Julie graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1980 and and then earned her Bachelors in Nursing from Indiana State University in 1983. She had worked as a nurse for Southern Indiana Gastroenterology in New Albany, Indiana since 2001 and prior to that also had worked as a nurse at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana and Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Julie was a member of the Little York Christian Church in Little York, Indiana and loved animals, especially cats and dogs. She also enjoyed country music, concerts, traveling and working outside. Julie was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Livesay and her father, Leo V. Peacock. Survivors include her two daughters, Jena and Jordyn Livesay both of Scottsburg, Indiana; her mother, Donna Peacock of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Dennis Peacock (Gail) of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sisters, Valerie Petty (Russell) and Holly Armstrong all of Scottsburg, Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Memorial Service: 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church with Marc Carr officiating.
