Steven W. Toppe, 63, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born on April 29, 1955 in Seymour, Indiana, the son of William D. and Marian Lou (Young) Toppe. Steve was a laborer for Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing in Walesboro, Indiana for the last 8 years. Prior to working at Toyota, he was a longtime employee of Sylvania in Seymour, Indiana. Steve had an infectious laugh and was a valued and loyal friend. He liked to travel and study Native American and old Western History. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Kevin Toppe and a nephew, Alex Toppe. Survivors include two sons, Jeremy Toppe and wife Jaime of Lexington, Indiana and Steven Toppe and wife Peggy of Austin, Indiana; his parents, Bill and Marian Toppe of Prospect, Kentucky; two sisters, Marsha Falk of Lake Forest, California and Debbie Murphy and husband Mike of Louisville, Kentucky; a brother, Bryan Toppe and wife Tammy of Prospect, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Kyle, Lucas and Landon Toppe and several nieces and nephews.
